Genlevel versus Victor Xray - Dub Wrong Babylon (genlevel playful dub) REMIX

My friend Ben Askins, aka Genlevel, asked if he could do a remix of a Victor Xray track a few months ago. Me, being such a slack bastard at times, didn't get my shit together to send him the remix package until a couple of weeks ago. Not that it should have been very difficult as we both use Ableton Live 7.0 so everything we had was compatible save a plugin or two. Anyway my slackness all gone, Ben turned out a top track in record time and here we offer the result for download.

The original track is "Dub Wrong Babylon", and it is contained in the 2008 album/download bundle "Lamplighter", which can be downloaded from here.

Victor Xray - Death Groove 9000 (mp3)

This week's track (Death Groove 9000) is an evolution of The Dolphin Machine which was in itself an evolution of Death Groove 6000. I've reverted to the original name format -- only the name indicates the improved version. I've removed the earlier versions if you haven't already got them.

A completely re-done version of the old Nerve Agent track Alien Jungle Planet (original version). The new version is much updated with a slower, heavier, more menacing, vibe than the original. No samples of the original were used - this is a completely reconstructed mix.

There's a forthcoming album of Clan Analogue remixes which includes yet another mix of this classic track, by Ant Banister of Lunar Module & Galactic Gangstars. You'll have to buy the album to hear that one.
