James Brown has to be about the most sampled artist in the history of sampling. The "Funky Drummer" sample is basically the most sampled rhythm ever (only the "Amen" break could lay similar claim) and it was the ubiquitous sample of the early 1990s. </p> <p>However, this set of three compositions bear little relationship to any of those sorts of tracks. I've returned to my ambient roots (which you can hear a lot of on the Clan Analogue album "Aphelion One" which I produced over a 15 years ago). The samples in these recordings have been processed and mangled beyond any hopeful recognition. The three compositions are here presented as a ZIP file for you to download.
