yes, true a room in a room is the way...and its different types of substances that slows sound, not just one thick layer...and layers of air...

this was best displayed when i went to the annechoic chamber in east lindfield in sydney many years ago... what a head fuck... it was a massive concrete cube that had been built suspended in subsequent concrete cubes and mounted on massive springs and rubber mounts supporting hundreds of tonnes of concrete.

so cool. the ultimate recording studio. or insanity room.

it was so dead quiet in there all i could hear was the blood running in capillaries in my ears. the only decent thing to do in there was to fucking scream.

so there really is no such thing as silence.

I cannot find my original CD of that track. I've only the MP3s - I think converted from WMAs! Have you tried Nick in Clan Melbourne to see if he's got any spare stock?!
