River of Dub is a pretty rough mix but within about five minutes of creating the basic beats last week I knew I already liked it. Being in a bit of a lazy mood this past fortnight I haven't finished it entirely, it's a bit of a rough mix at present with very little effects and shit - but still I reckon it's got a great bounce and energy already. Stay tuned next week for a more finessed mix but in the meantime enjoy this mix.

A new track for a new year. This one is called The Lamplighters. It's got a great woozy bassline that's not pitch accurate - it's a pitched down sample - and a off-kilter beat.

Update - New version ... ruffed up the drums a bit, added phase effects on keyboards, and shortened it by a minute.

OK Christmas holidays track is in more of a 'bassline' or 'funky house' genre (or at least an attempt at the genre), i.e. 140 bpm four-to-the-floor. Complete with secret message for anyone who has the one-time-pad. Got that? This transmission does not exist. It's all about plausible deniability. A complete NATO phonetic alphabet soup from Victor Xray.
