I can feel it falling (mp3)

Released on compilation "High" Volition Records 1992.

This track, 'Falling' by Now Zero, an old band of mine dating from 1990 to 1993, is from the Volition Records compilation, 'High', released 1992. Credits: "Written Lawler/Steel/Mcphee. Produced and Mixed by Scot Art. Thanks to Paul Bolger Jason Gee and Chris Basset." Recorded and mixed on a Tascam 688 8-track home studio cassette multitracker. Vocals by Simm Steel. This was one of the first tracks we ever wrote in the studio at the Palmer Street squat. Midi sequencing on an MC500 and analogue sequencing with an MC202.

Update: sorry for the truncated version of the file in the previous entry. This version is untruncated.

Re: I can feel it falling (mp3)

Good Evening, I just found an old tape with Now Zero playing live on Triple J. Would there be any CD's released by you guys, and what were those tracks called? The set was fantastic. Thanks

Re: I can feel it falling (mp3)

Hi, I am glad you like the set! There are tracks on the "High" compilation through Volition (well worth owning if you find it 2nd hand), but because Volition subsequently folded taking everything down with it we never put a release out through them -- there was only a mocked up 6 to 8 track demo which there were less than 100 copies (none survive in my possession although I do have the master DATs but no DAT player!).

There is also a track "Answer of the Void" on the Clan Analogue vinyl EP3 (deEP3), and a couple more on Clan Analogue compilation CDs. This would most likely be the period from which the Triple J set was recorded.

The kernel of some of those tracks would have survived into the Nerve Agent period (1996-), but we never properly recorded at least half those tracks, so I'd actually love to get a copy of that tape myself!!!

Re: I can feel it falling (mp3)

I have a copy of that demo, stuart gave it to me...

Re: I can feel it falling (mp3)
