This is a very very rough mix. It's based around a motif that's in in the middle of Tchaikovsky's "Dance Of The Flutes" in F# minor (from the Nutcracker Suite). Even if you don't think you know the classical piece you've definitely heard it if you've ever watched e.g. some Warner Bros or Ren & Stimpy cartoons! But maybe not the motif that I've used here. Anyway I've called this one 'Dub Of The Flutes' and it's hardly - barely - arranged for the moment, it's just some of the parts I've done for it strung together in a semi-sensible arrangement. More later.

Mccain is a senile old man who is extremely dangerous. He's never had anything but a government job. He was fifth from the bottom of his class - of something like 700 - but Admiral daddy and WW2 hero grandpappy Mccain still got him that assignment as an aviator (usually only the best get that opportunity). He crashed his plane three times, after the second one he should have been packed off to naval stores to count spare bolts rusting on shelves, but Admiral grandpappy's reputation kept him flying - and crashing. After a ton of skylarking in Europe, (crashed the jet again) he finally volunteers for a combat position only when he realised he needed it get high promotion. And then he got shot down.

Once captured, against the military code, he told his captors who his father was. He traded other secrets for favours. He was no hero in captivity, not more than anyone else held there. On repatriation and return, he was the navy's point-man in Washington. He wasn't interested in high military theory, he was interested in chasing tail. When his wife was crippled in a car accident, he dumped her for a pretty blonde heiress. then he went into the congress where he's been ever since, bankrolled by special interests, kept alive by his daddy's and granddaddy's reputation and his wife's money. He was one of the "Keating Five" - a corrupt son-of-a-bitch, kept on payroll by the elite of America to do their devious bidding.

Then he picked a corrupt, radical, anti-science dunce for vice-president not because she'd make a great president if needed but because she'd energize "the base", or more importantly, the whack-job faction that thinks the earth is 6000 years old, which was threatening to rebel against the lifelong navy-man, silver-spoon washington insider that is John Mccain.

The comparison to Bush is unfair. Bush was a better pilot, and he probably believes what he is doing is for the best. Mccain will do or say anything to get elected. He's never done an honest day's work in his life! He is a man completely without honour of any kind.

This track has no title as I could not think of a snappy one. It's a funny little riddum departed from what I would normally do. Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

The licence for these tracks is NOT creative commons. You may NOT redistribute this collection. These are free for your personal use and can be played at DJ gigs, radio shows, internet streaming, etc, subject to normal collections agencies policy in your country, just as you'd bought it. Victor Xray back in action. Three months of face-down bum-up in history books only does so much for your weekends. Anyway Victor Xray is back ready for action over summer and this one's the first off the rank. A track I've had sitting there half finished for six months. Anyway a couple of days effort throwing away most of what I'd done before put paid to that one. The track is called Testimony. The strings a quite nice but it's the simple groove of the bassline that's the part that lifts the track. Lots of nice space in the middle of the track. Right. We shall start.
